Our speakers are experts on the subject of HIV/AIDS, and many can speak first-hand on what it is like to live with the disease.
The one-on-one education provided by the Speakers Bureau is by far the best way to learn about preventing the spread of HIV, and to encourage our community to treat people living with HIV/AIDS with compassion and respect.
Life Foundation’s free Speakers Bureau services include:
· Presentations by HIV positive individuals at schools, churches, rehab centers, businesses, or community organizations on what its like to live with HIV/AIDS.
· Consulting with local businesses who have an HIV-positive employee on the best way to meet their needs and educate the staff about HIV/AIDS.
· Conducting “HIV 101s” to give a basic overview about what HIV is, how to get tested, and how to prevent the spread of the virus.
All Speakers Bureau services are free of charge.

“I’ve been speaking on Life Foundation’s Speakers Bureau since 1992. Slowly, as I started sharing my experience at middle and high schools and also businesses, I started to feel like I was making a difference. If my experience could help someone prevent getting this disease than maybe it wasn’t so bad. I felt like I had a purpose.”
- Jaimie Kahale, diagnosed with HIV in 1992 |
